The mission of KEJAANS is to disseminate scientific knowledge through the publication of original research articles, research notes, book reviews, letters to the editor and literature reviews, representing a contribution to scientific and technological knowledge in respective areas covered by the journal.

KEJAANS seeks to validate and disseminate new knowledge, making it public in order to strengthen human capacity, constitute a link in the scientific community to society, and encourage the expansion of university and academic research. The journal is dedicated to advancing agricultural and natural sciences through rigorous peer-reviewed research that addresses real-world challenges and contributes to sustainable development in Africa and beyond.
